Deer!

"...In the meadow we can build a snowman..."

The Ahwanee
The Ahwahnee shines as Yosemite National Park’s distinctive AAA® Four-Diamond hotel.  Known for its magnificent façade, and architecture, The Ahwahnee was specifically designed to highlight its natural surroundings, featuring Yosemite Falls, Half Dome and Glacier Point.  The destination of queens and presidents alike, The Ahwahnee offers a perfect balance of history, hospitality and elegance.

Before we started off on this path, there was a sign warning to watch out for Mountain Lions!

Camp Curry and the Outdoor Ice Rink!

We have an awesome video, but it would not upload :(

Leaving the Park by way of Highway 120

Areas they burned, using controlled fires,
they do this to preserve the wildlife and regenerate the land.
The Ahwanee people had done this hundreds of years previously.

As you can see, Yosemite has had its fair share of snow...
