Major Jeremiah Samson (Brian's Clinical Instructor) met us at the the Visitor Center to sponsor us to get on base.  I finally got to meet Major Samson, awesome guy, and we had a great time!

Downtown Vacaville and Suisun City, Saturday, February 5 (Happy Birthday Evan!)

We apologize for not blogging the last weekend in January, but it was cold and rainy, so we did not do much exploring and mainly stayed in our Fairfield-Suisun City area.

So, here we are outside of the house, Saturday was gorgeous, with weather in the high 60s-low 70s.

The outside of the house and the car! (We just washed her!)

Our little neighborhood...we were walking to check our mail!

We explored downtown Vacaville, which is about 15 minutes away from us.  It's a very nice town with lots of outdoor shopping.

Even a carousel!

Mike and I outside Pearl iZumi, which is a very popular brand for biking and triathlon gear.

The medical center is in the distance (that's where Brian works!)

We drove to Rancho Solano, which is a gated-type community in Suisun City with a golf course, but there were some beautful views...

 Amazing sunset!
